• Account details — email address, and a password we never see in plain text.
• Order details — what you bought, the delivery address, and the last four digits of the card.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email or through the chat on this site.
• Technical data — IP address, browser, and pages visited, through [analytics provider, or "no analytics"].

We do not collect date of birth, government ID, or anything about what you intend to do with the material. The age confirmation on this site is a yes/no acknowledgement stored in your own browser; it is not sent to us.

• Sell or rent your details to anyone.
• Share your order history with data brokers, advertisers, or list vendors.
• Put what you bought on the outside of the parcel.
• Email you marketing you did not ask for. The Research Circle is opt-in and one click to leave.

We use third parties to run the shop. Each sees only what it needs to do its job:

• Payments — [processor name]. Card numbers go to them, never to us; we cannot see a full card number at any point.
• Hosting and database — Netlify and Google Firebase.
• Email — Resend, for order confirmations and Research Circle mail.
• Shipping — [carriers], who receive the delivery address only.

Order records are kept for [number] years because tax and trading law requires it. Account details are kept until you delete the account. Support messages are kept for [number] months. Anything else is deleted when it stops being useful.

Email us and we will, within 30 days: send you a copy of everything we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and personal data entirely. We may have to keep order records that tax law requires, and we will tell you exactly which.

Depending on where you live you may also have rights under [GDPR / CCPA / other, as applicable]. Those rights apply whether or not this page lists them.

This site sets a session cookie so you stay signed in, and stores your cart and age acknowledgement in your browser’s local storage. [Add analytics/advertising cookies here if you add any — and if you don't, say so plainly, because most sites can't.]
